Pray for Oscar Diaz

Sounded more like a loud grunt out of frustration to me.

In any case I hope he comes out of it okay.

 

He actually never looked too badly hurt during the fight. Punch that hurt him most was probably a left hook during either the 3rd or 4th round, but even then he wasn't that hurt.

He took all of Delvin's punches prety well, but he was getting hit with a lot of sharp right hands during the fight, so I guess the punishment finally accumilated and had him collapsing in the corner.

I'll say this though, after being the aggressor for the majority of the fight he was beginning to back up in those last few rounds.. and his left eye looked almost completely shut. But I didn't see anything out of the ordinary in that last round that would have indicated to me that he was about to break down the way he did.

 

Hope the guy makes a recovery. I saw parts of the fight because I was watching Toney-Rahman and he had Delvin hurt in that fight.
