Here we are with the resume talk again. Stop bringing that **** up all the time. I just mentioned that GGG's style has adapted well. I never said it adapted better than Andre's anyway. I worded it weird yes, but I was only referring to the fact that he hasn't done anything in a long time which is unfortunate because he was such a talent. And it doesn't matter who's record is better. It's what one is doing now and will keep doing while the other one isn't doing anything. I want him to come back but that remains to be seen.

Dirrell has faced Froch and Abraham. Who has Golovkin faced on that level?

pre abraham andre dirrell vs GGG at 164 catch in omaha nebraska on a friday night with a full moon in the spring at 8 pm in an outdoor stadium at 65 degrees with a 20% chance of rain with an interim title at stake.

    History will remember him?

I'd bet against it. I've almost already forgot who he is.

:lol:You never said that GGG's style adapted better than Dirrell, then why did you say this ? "Golovkin's style has adapted very well whereas Dirrell, well we know that went"
And, how are we supposed to know how someone's style have transferred from amateur to pro if not based on their level of competition, aka resume? Look we've seen guys look like the second coming while crushing cans, but fold the moment a world class fighter is thrown at them. You can't just say resume don't mean anything because its the main parameter by which fighters ability is measured.

The actual second comings also look like second comings while Ko'ing cans. Don't write GGG off yet.

Time will (hopefully) tell if he's a hype job or the real deal.

Did you not see where I said that I worded it weird? I realized I made it sound like GGG's style adapted better but I clearly said that wasn't my intention. What Dirrell hasn't adapted is the mentality. That I'll stand by. You can only cling to the resume for so long though. For someone who hasn't done a ****in thing in ages, what he did then isn't as important as it would've been when it was more recent. An important part of resume also is consistency and longevity. You can't just have a couple names on it and call it a day. I know GGG's resume is severly lacking. It takes two to tango, and at this rate he more than likely has to move up because 160 is a waste of time.

great idea..taking a page from some of the great southern wrestling territories of the south in the 70's/80s

the loser can never fight in omaha i again...i think this increases ppv sales by at least 2 percent....we can even give it a catchy name like "the master of nebraska" or the "disaster in nebraska"

    no doubt
i was a wrestling fan as a kid before i got into boxing
they also had a "hair vs hair" match
it obviously was a big deal back then to shave your head if you lost

You right GGG could go on and do tremendous things, it just that its been a while since I've seen a fighter get so much credit and hype while doing little. Look people were shitting on Broner whom I also thought was hype before he got exposed, but one thing you can't deny is Broner's desire to fight the best. At almost a decade jr of GGG, Broner have won belt in 2 different weight classes and jumped two weight classes for bigger challenge while this 32 year old prospect is still crushing can at 160 while talking about no one wants to fight him.
