Who here was or wasn't sold on him and why ? Better trainer would have made a difference you think ?

Wasn't sold on him. He lacked discipline in a division that was very much heating up. I saw the Snipes fight and remembered thinking that arrogance was going to cost him.

That said, I think I fell for Alex Garcia for about 20 minutes.

Alex Garcia sure tamed the Bull Bernard Benton. What was the ref thinking ?!?!? What sold you on Garcia the Curry fight

I never saw Jorge Gonzalezs fight with Snipes, I heard though it took him too long get Snipes out. Like he was being cruel and toying with a helpless foe, was that it ?

Where is Jorge today ? I hear in Las Vegas somewhere, anyone with any paticulars email through here if you could

He was awful. No discipline, just size and minimal skillset.

Yeah, I liked Snipes and Snipes was still in good shape just had lost his reflexes.

I never seriously bought Garcia. Dee Collier had KO'd him before the Tuesday Night Fight Train started the hype around him.

Forget that 'San Fer' tattoo, it's his mullet that struck fear in the hearts of Tuesday Night Fight jobbers. Should have cashed out against Foreman when he had the chance.

I didn't know what to think about him. I did think that a good fighter might expose his skills since he was too stand up and he had a good jab, but he had no head movement. He was also a little too cocky thinking he was great for not having proved anything yet. He is lucky he never fought Lennox because that fight would have gone 1 or 2. Witherspoon and Bowe lasted into the midrounds.

Bowe did a real number on him. Felt a bit sorry for the big galoof, the way he was KO'd

I was not! Pro boxing is very different than amateur boxing. I wasn't surprised at all at how easily he was beat by Bowe and Witherspoon. I really would have liked a Bowe vs. Witherspoon fight following Witherspoon's win over Gonzalez btw.
