Just wondering if anyone can share their thoughts on pre fight camps.

    - Duration (6,8 wks?)
    - days per week
    - Sessions (conditioning & skills)
    - Sparring (when to start & stop)
    - weight/nutrition

overall just looking for ideas and to hear what has worked for others

    cheers

6 weeks when preparing for a championship (2-5 fights)
    train 6 days a week,
first 2-3 weeks focus on weight loss get the weight down, get within 5-6 lbs of fighitng weight
last 3-4 weeks, get away from long cardio, focus more on anaerobic workouts(sprints, light weights, drills that emulate fight and light sparring)
2 weeks before the fight only spar and do sprints and push ups no weights.
week before the fight hit the bag and train try and cut down on sparring atleast 3-4 days before the fights, and focus more on drills
2 days before the fight cut out the drills
go for light 1-2 mile jogs and go to the gym and work the up and down bag (double end bag, heavy bag not too hard though just go through the motions)
1 day before the fight i say just go for a really light 1 mile jog take your time doing it slower the better and maybe shadow 2-3 rounds very light no fast just go through the motions

day of the fight rest up till the weigh ins and go **** some mother ****ers up!! atleast thats what i do :D
