This is aimed at guys and girls who have fought at both amateur and pro.

What is more nerve racking, waiting to have a amateur or a pro boxing match?

Most people would assume its pro, but pro's have a much bigger reward if they win compared to amateurs, so i would think that, that would take away some nerves and not be asking yourself "why the f**k am i doing this" every min while waiting to go and fight

i think its all relative to the person but i would give my thoughts.

in the amateurs - as a younger person you may tend to be nervous and have alot more prefight butterflies.

most guys, by the time they turn pro, have made the mental decision that they are ready for the next level and may suprisingly deal with the pre-fight butterflies a bit better as they tend to put in more preparation.

however, its all relative bc everyone's experience is slightly different.
some guys maybe scared bc now they are using smaller gloves and no head guards, but you will be amazingly suprised that without the headguard, you vision is just better!

Well I havent fought as a pro yet. But the butterflies for my first fight were so intense. I remember throwing up 3 times prior, and they all went away after a jab. Then second fight i didn't have them as bad.
