    He is now 42-9-2.

After fighting some more journeyman and having another shot at the title, or going thru the cycle a few times, I'm predicting that he retires with a record of

47-11-2 and brain tangled beyond all belief.

    Thoughts?

I don't know. I really don't want to think about it right now.

Hopefully he'll get the big fight that he deserves against Klitschko next. So I think he'll retire with a 42-10-2 record.:dead :yep

Yikes, I don't want to see that fight. You'd have to really hate Evander to want to see that bout happen.

With these beatins he's getting at this stage of his career he's going to soon have to challenge janitors if he wants to rack up wins.

Don't you think he deserves to fight the best available? Look at it from the positive side, after that fight he will retire for sure.:p

Sadly, it might just take a severe beating for Holyfield to get the message that he shouldn't be in the ring.

Holyfield won't retire. He'll just carry on and on and on. To be fair to him I think he can dominate the 45 year plus ranks for years to come. If he ever fights Wlad Klitschko he will probably win because if that fight ever happens it will be when Wlad is old and shot himself.
A 55 year old Holy beats a 42 year old Wlad, but I'm guessing Wlad will be retired far sooner than that.

Holyfield will probably go 59-20-8 and then the planet dies or nuclear apocalypse
