Ref stops the fight. Vitali TKO 10th round victory over Peter.

But this fight will be much easier to predict after seeing Round 1.

    Picking Peter by late stoppage.

I'm a fan of both fighters and Vitali is coming off 4 years of inactivity with serious nearly career threatening injuries in his knee and back. With his style of defense which is fighting backwards and moving backwards a lot I don't think he will be able to apply that for 12 rounds. If Peter proves he can take his shots early and handle them well then he has this in the bag in my opinion, when Vitali is pressured he tires and that happened when he was active, just watch the Sanders, Lewis and Williams fights, when he's pressured and is forced to remain active he eventually tires, slows down and starts to breath heavily. This will be worse for him after a 4 year lay-off with serious injuries, he won't be able to stay active as much as he's supposed to and Vitali was never known to punch and hold as Wladimir applies these days, he's right there trying to land as many punches as possible and avoid as many as possible with his movement, to maintain that he needs healthy legs and a healthy back(where the serious injuries that put him out for 4 years are). If Peter can handle Vitali's power I see him shining as the fight goes on, the first few rounds are guaranteed to be for Peter in my opinion, if he can take those punches then everything will change and as Vitali tires his punches won't be as powerful as they were early in the fight. As I said, if Peter can take those punches well then he can do it whether by decision or late round stoppage(possibly corner retirement), if not then he loses and early.

I'm not sure Peter can deal with Vitali's power.

Peter's best chance is if Vitali's fragile body gets injured, before or during the fight.

He can neither out-box nor out-muscle the big guy.

This is the same as predicting Vitali's condition.

If he's in good shape and not to faded, he will win.

If he is in poor shape or is faded, he will lose.

I lean towards his winning on points.

If the fight actually happens (Vitali doesn't get injured), it's going to be bad for Peter. Vitali KOs Peter within 4.

Good post, I see Peter winning it by 6 round TKO, this fight will be a brawl for most of the rounds, both men giving all they got, it will be the fight we have all craved in the Heavyweight division for a long time.

Peter will surprise alot of people by landing clean blows on the 37 yearold Vitali, and at points rocking him badly. Vitali will have his moments as well on the flat footed Peter, but by the middle rounds Vitali's fragile, old body will give out on him, it will come from Peter's signature overhand right, which will drop Vitali, he will make the count, but Peter's great killer instinct will prove too much for the inactive Vitali, and the fight will end up being stopped, after Peter Brutally pounds Vitali against the ropes.

Samuel will show in this fight why he's considered the most dangerous Heavyweight in the world, Vitali will experience a "Nightmare" first hand on Oct. 11, dont miss it.

Yeah right. He is the most dangerous fighter to kill a buffet. Peter got dropped and hurt bery badly by the light punching MCcline. If any gets dropped its Peter cause Vit has never been dropped. Signature overhand right? His signature punch is punchs on the back of head or neck, along with rabbit punching. Man you are out of you rmind.

I thought the poll covered all possibilities, but I missed the DRAW option.

vitali tko mid rounds, i accidentally hit the 10-12 option :patsch

even with the ring rust i think he can box circles around tons o' fun. not to mention he isnt timid and cautious like his bro. we may very well have a hw slugfest showdown on our hands here.

The long lay-ff (and the age) could be a big factor.
