Good analysis, however, by your logic, 37 year old McCline should have fallen apart as well. He didn't, his stamina let him down, not his knees. So Sam's pressure didn't really exhaust McCline, he bullrushed McCline but Jamaal hung in there.McCline's lack of training and his pulmonary system let him down.
Vitali will be in better pulmonary condition. His back injury didn't seem as severe as some. In fact, it may be stronger now that ever now that surgery eliminated that weakness.
His knees may be the weakest area and could let him down and therefore your theory may prove true.
However, when you mentioned Vit tires when pressured, my God did you look at the other guys? :tired Sam's going to be exhausted ,too, and open for pots shots just like Sanders was. SANDERS JUST COULDN'T GET OUT OF THE WAY of those greatly timed and precise punches -and he's faster than Pete.
I think Peter gets outboxed--even in the early rounds.
If Vit's knee gives out Sam wins this one--I bet he will be behind on the cards though.

I first thought Vitali would have too much ring rust to overcome and he gets tagged the way Maskaev did however, I hear through the grapevine that Peter's camp is goin' fat lazy and slow while Vitali is getting in great shape.
If Vitali stays injury free before fight, I'll bet Vitali picks off the slow, over confident and clumsy Peter.
Vitali by Kirk Johnson like beatdown in rnd 4.
