    Isn't "public sentiment" "who's Paul Williams?" Some people know who Pavlik is, only boxing fans know who Williams is.

    Right now, according to the media, Williams is a heavy favorite. However, Pavlik has a good sized, loyal, fan base. Williams will probably open as the favorite, and that will tighten up as the fight moves closer. I can't see public opinion changing much between now and the time betting opens.

    Why wouldn't the "smart money" come in right away? Why wait if they all think they could only lose money by waiting until the odds start tightening?

    I think Paul will be at most a 2:1 favorite.

    Pavlik will be 4/6 fav 6/4 Williams ...and for me Pavlik for a couple of big wedges of wonga will py for my holiday at xmas ...
