was he seen out jollying it up with mates the day before? not making excuses for kev. its common knowledge what went on pre-katsidis
He was out getting pissed in the weeks leading up to the fight (allegedly). There's some on here who a know bit more about that. I think Mitchell is a decent fighter but he's just short of top world level. No shame in that though.
Murray was on the **** as well though in Germany couple of weeks before not exactly the norm for big fights. Mitchell is a very talented fighter but for me Rios is just all wrong for him, he would be too strong.
Your right mate that comfort zone of schooling Katsitas whilst Kevin wasnt in the zone in getting stopped in 3.please think before you post your drivellatschRicky Burns would have beat Kevin imo 3 years ago when they were ment to meet in Newcastle thats when imo Kevin had a chance now he'll get beaten handily if not stopped
Rios would knock Mitchell out later on whilst having to walk through a bit back. Mitchell isnt the 'Rabbit in Headlights' he was for Kats no more and Rios isnt as good as some make him out to be. However, he's still a lot better than Mitchell and has faced and beaten better than him too. Mitchells performance against Murray was not World Class. It was a very good 50/50 fight for a lot of the rounds that went by. Mitchell was getting caught a hell of a lot, and its common knowledge that Murray was smashed out of his head THREE WEEKS PRIOR TO THE FIGHT in Germany whilst supporting Macklin in his bid to overthrow Sturm. As for the Burns fight............. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Burns would pick him apart.
Rios would KO mitchell in about the 8th Burns would beat him wide on points, 10-2 or 9-3 something like that
I can see Ricky winning on points but don't understand these claims of a wide UD. Kevin has enough about him to make that a close fight.
may i please add pre murray fight about 85% of this forum claimed johnny would be far too busy on the night for kev and would stop him mid to late rounds
