First of all: Happy 46th Birthday Champ! Now a few years back I predicted in a 'say something that makes you look idiotic but might become true' thread that Hopkins will fight till 50 and he's closing to that age rapidly, though we still have a couple of years. But compared to some years ago when Hopkins said he's done, and when he came back for a fight and said one more fight and done, he now says THREE MORE FIGHTS and done so it's seems Bernard's schedule is getting heavier by the day. So here's your chance to predict what Hopkins will do by age 50, if he's gonna still fight or maybe what activity / job he'll have if he decides to call it an early career.
Oh, in that case... I believe he will actually be retired by then and I expect him to become a trainer or promoter or something. Don't think any network will offer a commentating job, with his "not very political correct" remarks and shouts.

retires, then: 1. I don't know if he'll be a good commentator. but he may be... 2. When Oscar dies of AIDS, Hopkins will eventually take over GBP.
There is no way Hopkins will stay retired. After he beats the two Canadians and Dawson he probably wont retire and even if he does he will be back. Same as SRL.
