It does appear to be shaping up as a Ward - Abraham final.

Lets see how Andre's inside game is against a monster like Arthur

 

Semi 1 - Ward v Abraham
Semi 2 - Froch v Kessler
Final - Ward v Froch

Froch is not going into the semis. Abraham is going to decapitate him so he will tie Ward with points for the lead.

Whats the tiebreaker on that one anyways? If they both end up with 6 points. How would they determine who is seeded number 1?

 

And you must be american cos if ward gets to fight abraham and tries to bang with him inside he is gonna get absolutely pummeled and the worrying thing for ward is that he will need to get inside against abraham as he is not as good on the outside as dirrell.

And i am no blind and biased like most posters on here.

Im a big Abraham fan though but even then the styles suite Ward. Ward is just very versitile and good at fighting dirty. By the way if something can be done about Wards use of the head i dont think he would be as dominant.

Trust me nothing would make me happier than seeing Abraham KTFO of Ward.

 

tie for the top seed wouldnt matter. The top 2 seeded teams are always placed the furthest from each other in a single elimination bracket system.
So... for instance, if Ward and Abraham win their fights, they SHOULD NOT be fighting each other in the semi-finals.

But with the ties situation, im wondering what happens if there's too many ties to define the top4 that goes to the bracket system?

 

You think Green will KO Kessler?

 

Abraham and Ward haven't fought so the relevant tie breaker between them would be number of KOs, hence Abraham would be top.

 

Stage 3 -
Ward over Dirrell
Kessler over Green
Abraham over Froch

Semis -
Ward vs Kessler or tie break Froch/Dirrell
Abraham vs Kessler or tie break Froch/Dirrell

not sure how they're going to figure out the tie break for 4th place w/ Froch/Dirrell
but i see the semifinal configured in this sense - matching up who hadnt fought each other

Ward over Froch
Abraham over Kessler

FINAL
Ward over Abraham

 

Froch wins any tiebreak over Dirrell because he beat him. That's the first tiebreaker.

 

I think the tie break would be wins if Ward beats Dirrell then he has 3 wins... Abraham can only end the First stage with 2 wins... I would think the WIN colum would come first before KO's

 

No Green is as terrible as they come. I was all for Bika coming into the tournament as he would put up more of a fight.

Kessler will TKO Green. That should put him in 3rd place after Ward and Abraham.
