Round 1 : Feeling out period. Calzaghe lands a couple of jabs. Roy lands a sharp right hand to win the round.

Round 2 : Calzaghe piles on the pressure. Roy lands another right hand. Roys round.

Round 3 : Calzaghe seems to be relentless now, Roy seems tired already backing into the corner, with Calzaghe continuing to pressure the fight.

Round 4 : Calzaghe is landing some solid combinations. Roy lands a good uppercut off the ropes, stuns Calzaghe for a second. But Calzaghe goes back to the body, another Calzaghe round.

Round 5 : The tempo of this fight has now changed. Calzaghe continues to pour on the pressure. Roy seeming desperate lands a nice combination, does some show footwork, but Calzaghe well on top here.

Round 6 : Perhaps Roy feels his dream is fading. He taps his shoes, and lands a nice 3 punch combo, the crowd roar. Calzaghe however nods, smiles and goes back to work, landing a series of combinations to wint he round.

Round 7 : Roy seems tired in the corner. Commentators feel its only a a matter of time now. Calzaghe continues to throw punches at will. Roy is now desperate and trying to load up random big right hands. One lands, however Calzaghes chin is good enough and he keeps coming forward.

Round 8 : Calzaghe is starting to land some clean combinations. Jones fires back, but his power is being zapped by the constant pressure. Jones goes back to the corner, Calzaghe continues to pound away. Jones takes a count. Calzaghe rushed back over to Jones and lands two solid rights, and this fight is over. Jones is still on the floor.

Calzaghe salutes the crowd. The fighting pride of Wales announces his retirement.

nah I see it more like Jones vs Tarver, Jones dances and runs around in circles stealing one or two rounds until he finally gets hit clean then gets stopped on accumulation while still standing on the ropes

im more worried jones upprecuts and left hooks than his right hand...i think calzaghe is open to upprecuts..if he can fight mid range i cant see roy winning. i doubt roy will come out toe to toe..and i doubt he will come out firing all cylinders and i think he will try conserve his energy. i think roy will either try the counters or work the body. calzaghe i believe wont allow roy any room to breathe, whilst i expect it to be hard to hit jones with his guard so high up calzaghe might opt for the body for the first few rounds, and go for the kill in later rounds and put on the pressure.

Jc 12 rounds SD like against hopkins because I think jones will have more to say than in previous fights.

I think jones will be fighting a calzaghe who punches arn't as hard as they used to be, so jones will end up getting punished longer then him an his glass jaw would of in 2002, i say calzahe ends jones career around the 11th
