Juan Diaz is nothing but hype? :rofl: :rofl: youre either crazy or a JMM hater.

 

Thats because of the type of fight it was. Juan was able to corner JMM, Pac wasnt and its not his style, he fights from mid-range. When pac does throw combinations, they come in 5-6's too just like Juan Diaz, difference is Juan launches those combinations alot more often.

Juan Diaz lacks power not because he throws alot of punches, he simply lacks power period. There were times when he caught JMM with fully load lunging shots and JMM took it fine. Lesser shots catching JMM from Pac would put JMM on the floor.

Margarito has very high work rate and he certainly has KO power. Pac has one of the best workrate and he has KO power. Hatton had one of the best workrates with KO power.

Juan Diaz can have 10 seconds to wind up his shot, hit JMM right on the chin and JMM would walk right through it...the guy is not a power puncher. I predicted JMM & Pac would beat Diaz when they were still 130 and most of ESB thought Diaz would simply maul them. I said Pac carried more power in his shots than Juan Diaz and people didnt believe it. THis fight proved it, Juan's power will stop him from ever being one of the elite. Good fighter, B+ to A- but will never be an A or A+ elite. There's a reason why despite JMM being a former 126lb, he was a heavy favourite here in ESB. One is because he's damm good, two is because Juan is not on that level.
