It's too bad the general public doesn't know what a badass Clottey is, or this fight would do twice the numbers it's going to do. I would roflmao if it does anything close to PBF-Mosely, shut PBF the **** up about what a star he is.
900k this is why pac clottey will do less IMO hatton vs clottey in a who is te best known in america poll would be an ass whoopin
i awlways thought Hatton Mayweather dod better. Theres no comparisment between Hatton and Clottey in America.
Pac has casual fans on lock ... he might not have the star studded Vegas crowd of Mayweather/Mosley but he's going to attract some athletes from other sports ... and some mainstream entertainers ... He's a star ... you guys (like I used to) are underestimating his marketability. He has a strong westcoast fan base and attracts big ticket buyers.
If Clottey is a syuperstar like Mosley, then people will look deeper into his losses and see those things. But the thing is that Clottey is not a superstar.People see him as just a fighter who already lost several times. And evenso, losing to Baldomir and Cotto, albeit close ones, does not in any way make him a worthwhile opponent of Pac who already beat Cotto badly and is several worlds above Baldomir. And Margarito is a proven cheater.
800-900k IMO. If it goes 1 mil or over, that'll be a tremendous boost not only for the Pac and Clottey fans but for the sport of boxing itself.
Clottey has no name recognition. Clottey has fans? Sure there are hardcore fans who respect him but he has no fan base, that's laughable.
I'd say around 500k to 600k ppv, conservatively. If Pac-Hatton only made 800k, this will definitely not outsell that.
