I don't think the fight is ever going to be made. Wilder talks tough on twitter acting like he really wants the fight but in reality he doesn't. His team already said that all of the sponsors that would've financed the Fury - Haye fight would also be willing to sponsor Wilder vs Fury. At the end of the day Wilder's team is going to demand nearly exactly the same amount of money Haye would have gotten. That won't happen and team Wilder has a great excuse to say the fight couldn't be made. I personally think that Wilder rather wants to stick fighting guys that are nowhere near the top 30. Whenever he faces a live body i think he is going down. Shaky whiskers, not much experience despite 30 fights... Do you guys think the fight is going to take place?
On a serious note. No, I don't believe Wilder will fight Fury. Infact I don't think Team Fury should pursue a Wilder fight at all. After the Haye fiasco they shouldn't waste their time or money on another Wild(er)-goose chase, and instead try to get a fight with someone who are likely to actually step into the ring with Fury.
It is really funny you need to read his twitter messages. He really thinks he belongs to the best just because he beat some bums with losing records.
