I think Fury has looked too hittable, and generally off, since his comeback. Before the Wlad fight he was more dominant against better opponents.

Fury's chin is fine IMO, it was fine against Wlad. He was so off balance when Cunningham hit him, I could have knocked him down. Wilder does have the power to KO anyone though.

    I pick Wilder by KO.

I think Fury's best chance might be to fight in close, to stop Wilder getting leverage on his shots, while hitting and tying up. Risky strategy though, as the judges might not like it, the fans certainly won't, and he'll have to get past his power, but it's probably the plan I'd use.

I think that's part of the strategy Fury should employee, but I think he should start out on the outside, feinting and seeing if he can gauge any tendencies. But I also definitely think crowding up close, and leaning his weight on Wilder will also be part of the plan going in. Basically, I'm expecting Fury to use any and every trick at his disposal.

I'm not sure who wins here, but I am sure the winner will get a lot of credit, perhaps more than he deserves. All I ask is the judging is sound, that has been a major problem lately.

My early thoughts at Fury via TKO, as Wilder is not a good boxer, and won't have his usual height and reach advantages. But for this to happen, Fury needs to be at the right weight, and frame of mind, so this pick can change is Fury comes in heavy and under focused.

If Fury fades away he can be a promoter.

Wilder by knockout, I won't be surprised if he goes right after him from the opening bell and gets Fury out of there early. I don't see Wilder being timid the way Klitschko was and let himself be outboxed.

He'll need to use it to work his way in. I could be wrong, but I think the danger is, while Wilder doesn't exactly have textbook footwork, he does have fast feet, pretty fast punches, and isn't far off as rangy as Fury, so he could close the range and land big punches pretty quickly. Much harder if Fury is too close and he either has to move backwards of rely on the ref breaking it up

Such a damned difficult call. Wilder seems in incredible form. Unstoppable. Fury had some issues in the last few years, but the perfect style. I’ll go with Wilder, but damn it’s tough.

I never thought that a fight between a guy 6-7 and a guy 6-9 would interest me. Usually people that size win because they're big, not because of their athleticism and skills. This fight does interest me, Wilder has speed, stamina, and power that I haven't seen before in a 6-7 fighter. Fury has been raised in a boxing family, like FMJ he is at home in the ring. He is relaxed and he is skilled, not just for a 6-9 fighter, he'd be skilled for a 5-9 fighter.

After all of that, I have no idea who will win, Fury has the skills, but Wilder is not unskilled, just unconventional, plus he is dangerous for the whole fight. He could lose 35 minutes and 50 seconds and still win by knockout. If Fury can hurt Wilder early, get his respect and make him box, he should win, he might even stop Wilder? But if Wilder is throwing hard punches all the way without fear of what is coming back, Fury will probably get hit hard at some point regardless of his boxing skills. Then it will come down to toughness, recovery, and conditioning. Who knows? But it is a good match up.

Fury late round s ko ..,I think.
But tbh a very hard fight to predict. Fury's lay off may have cocked up his chances of winning in great fashion. If this had being the Fury coming straight off the Klitschko' victory ,then I'd have been a lot more confident in him.
But as it stands I'll hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

A couple years off partying has never done a fighter well. I certainly don't see it doing wonders for an underpowered cutie with a streak of real cokkiness. In my crystal ball I see Fury writing checks his body can't cash and out of there in 5.

I don’t often post in general but did a thread there last week on how I am undecided on this fight, oddly enough got some decent replies.

I am still undecided. I think Fury is the better boxer, and expect that to show especially early in the fight. Wilder has the equalizer, but I don’t feel comfortable picking a guy to land a big shot while being ??? Outclassed skill wise. However I also don’t feel comfortable picking Fury due to rust? and being sure of his commitment. How does he respond in the 2nd half as fatigue sets in...part of me thinks he is stepping up to soon and should have had st least one more test before taking this fight.

Looking forward to it, but am not a fan of either guy and don’t really have a feel for this yet

Yes ,nearly all of Wilder's shots are long punches, similar to Kovalev who himself was useless inside.

I think it might go quite a bit longer, but have to agree with your prognosis.

Wilder, as of today, looks pretty small compared to Fury. Leaning toward Fury by decision.
