Is Fury in this for a last paycheck? It does seem so but couldn't he have extended this comeback for a whole gaggle of them against less dangerous opponents?

I'm confused. And still picking Wilder to win by KO.

I'm calling Wilder by KO some time the around fifth. Confidence about 75-80%

That's almost exactly what my analysis was going to be. I won't bother to write it out now.

This late I'm still 50-50..I could make a convincing case for either. This could be an easy nights work for Tyson or Wilder could land.
A lifetime of following this sport had always told me to pick the boxer over the fighter and yet I feel if there was a gun to my head I pick Wilder. I shocked he's come in so light though !? Intriguing match up.

Not losing those extra 10 lbs might could be the difference between staying out of harms way for 12 rds or getting caught.

On the other hand, Wilder at merely 212? We know he still punches like a mule at that weight, but he didn't look good against Ortiz at 214.

I agree that is not good news . I think it shows we will not see the Fury from the Wlad fight. I am still picking Fury but with less confidence.

I'd pick the Fury who beat Klitschko with a high degree of confidence indeed, but today I'm about 80% confident in Wilder.

If Fury had been active the last 2 and a half years I’d expect him to win easily.
However I don’t see how anyone can shed 10 stone in 12 months and without any meaningful fights not gas out after 3 or 4 rounds and that’s what I expect to happen.
I think the mediocre Wilder will stop Fury anytime after then.

I'm still going with fury by stoppage.

Wilder coming in light will play into Furys hands, if DW feels being lighter so he can get in and out quicker without risking getting caught is crazy.

When he comes in Fury will just turn him and bully him with his size and weight, Wilder will be exhausted, cut, confused and very desperate by round 5.

For Fury then nothing matters, he will absolutely take everything Wilder has and just walk him down and finish him.

That is how it will pan out.

    It is indeed.

But it will happen I believe, Wilder has had it all his own way up until now.
Fury will give him a fight that he has never ever experienced before, and after the first round ends it will be there for all to see....

Then it will get interesting as Furys confidence kicks in and nothing bothers him, whilst Wilder is left swinging and praying one lands, then goes into complete desperation mode as he now knows it is impossible after landing his best!!!

Cut and bleeding he gets stopped.

The more I think about the more I think Wilder mid fight knockout. Fury will look decent to begin the fight but have a ruff 5th or 6th round and get stopped in the following round.

Well, I guess we'll know in a few hours. I'll tip my hat if you prove correct.

    Enjoy the fights, fellers.

Whether we agree or not I respect all here and enjoy the banter.

This should be a good one!
