We have tried to change what we did in practice. The mistake I made against Dirrell was that I gave away the first couple of rounds. That won’t happen again and it’s something we’re looking to change in the next fight. “I have to do more and take more risks than I did against Dirrell. I don’t want to reveal too much now but I will just show you on Nov. 27.One thing I learned from my fight against Dirrell is that I have to be more aggressive from the early rounds because those are the rounds I lost.” “I’m actually used to fighting every three or four months but my trainer is very professional and an expert so we knew how to alter the training so my body stays in shape and so I stay sharp. We just adjusted our training accordingly and I think it’s actually an advantage for me. The more I train the better I get and the stronger I get. So it’s no problem for me at all." I’ve got like close to 200 rounds. As far as other aspects go, not a lot has changed since the defeat. I’m not going to do anything different based on that loss because quite frankly it was a very close fight and I should have won. I take a lot of confidence from my fight against Kessler. I sent Mikkel Kessler into retirement with that fight. And now I’m fighting to get my title back. As far as I’m concerned I defended my title against Kessler and I’m defending it again against Abraham. So nothing’s changed. The training has stayed the same. “I’m giving myself a week before the fight to get over to Finland and get settled in. I’m fully prepared, meticulously prepared to do the job I need to do on Nov. 27 to bring that green belt back to England. I have a massive, massive chance to win the Super Six Tournament so I just have to hold onto that and give it my all.” [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKtb3ezbo_8&feature=player_embedded[/ame] The Fight Only in the Super Six could two fighter coming of losses be in such a significant fight. But that is the beauty of the tournement, and due to Andre Dirrell's and Mikkell Kesslers retirement/vacations the fight if for thr vacant WBC Super Middleweight title previously held by Froch. What makes this fight even more intresting is what hapens next. Should Abraham win, he will face Glen Johnson in the semi finals and Froch will travel to Oakland to meet Andre Ward. If Froch wins by anything other than a shut out or early KO, he will meet Abraham again but in his hometown of Nottingham. It has all the ingridients needed to be a great fight, including two big punching Warriors, with strong chins coming to meet each other. Abraham is a known to be a slow starter. There are many theorys on this but many feel he cannot fight at a fast pace and there may be underlying stanima issues. He certainly likes things his own way. But he is a tough and determined man who will come to fight. Abraham has had 2 fights since moving up to 168lbs. He was outboxed and outclassed agaisnt Dirrell, but you feel had he not be DQ'd he could of come back into it and maybe scored the KO, and he was impressive but not incredible agaisnt a Jermain Taylor who had seen better days. This will be his first fight agaisnt a carerr Super Middle, a massive one at that. Froch is a strange fighter. He looks slow, and is awkward to watch. He has his left hand held low which leaves him open. He slips allot of shots and his defence is under rated but its difficult for the judges to see that. In his only defeat agaisnt Kessler in his last fight, you were left with the feeling that Carl could do allot more. Froch has the advantages in height, reach and natural size. He will need to start fast and keep that pace going to win the fight. You get the sense if he got on top of Abraham he could bully him for long periods. Simply to win this fight we need to see the Froch who beat Pascal, that night he showed he can box, work of the jab and change things up if he needs to. For me it is Froch's fight to lose.
