Are you for real? Povetkin will easily beat Byrd. If it goes the distance, Povetkin will win most of the rounds for sure. I can not see Byrd winning via TKO. I can see Povetkin winning via TKO.

I'll take Povetkin but predict it will be a very tough, close fight. Some people are predicting a walkover for Povetkin but I don't buy it. Vlad was just to many physical advantages in his fight with Byrd. Povetkin will not have those advantages. He does have youth on this side though and he is fighting in his own backyard (sort of).

Povetkin looks pretty good but just as people are ranting about us fans not knowing fighters like him, some of you guys might be overestimating him. From youtube fights he looks good but doesn't look like he's got the ability to dominate the division at any point. If Golota can beat Byrd 3 years ago, than this guy with his youth, skill, and some power, should be able to beat Byrd. Even if a close fight happens, the decision will probably go to povetkin IMO.

There will be no "robbery" by the Euro judges.

    Because:
Povetkin will win by a huge, huge margin.
If Byrd opens up, Povetkin will take him out. If he fights to merely last and establish himself as a solid gatekeeper to the top ten/15 he has a chance, but that is as far as his experience will take him.

If it goes 12 (and what B.S. belt is this for anyway?) people will say "he has no power, Wlad knocked him out and Alexander could not".

These people would be wrong. As Byrd was a willing participant in his TKO 7 result against Wlad. (not to take anything away from Wlad's win) If he fights the way he fought Wlad the first time, he will last the distance, probably.
People will then say "Byrd was a better fighter the first time, he is now much older" that will only be part of it, but not the whole story.

I have been saying this ever since the fight was made. Take it to the bank.

Brock vs. Chambers is a much closer call. I have been watching more footage of Chambers recently, that one is a real pick em.

Povetkin by destruction. Povetkin's style is a nightmare for Byrd. Povetkin is a very accurate puncher and has good handspeed, throws beatiful combinations. Byrd is a counter puncher. But he is going to have trouble countering, when he is being mauled by the handspeed and accuracy of Povetkin.

Wow, funny how all the Euro's on here who always hail all the Russian make fun of the Americans who pick Byrd.

    Pot, here's the kettle.

Povetkin by stoppage. He is every bit as fast as Byrd is now, has a wide arsenal of punches that he always utilizes, and is very mobile. He is good at timing and counter punching, and might be able to do that versus Byrd. He will use his hand speed, mobility, angles, and power to beat up Byrd's body early on and open him up for the KO in the mid rounds.

Povetkin clearly showed signs of fatigue against Donald. If Byrd is clever and still able to box, he will try to run Povetkin out of gas. Personally, I think that is Byrd's only hope unless Povetkin tries to out box him..

I am not a Euro. Just an unbaised, realistic boxing fan, with an all seeing eye and the uncanny ability to predict heavyweight events before they have happened.

You're the first person I have ever seen claim he was showing signs of fatigue in that fight.
