I for one wouldn't be bothered much by a "I told ya so!" I would be probably be laughing for 3 straight days if that somehow happens. The "British joke of the HW division" from about 3 years ago bitchslaps the "British savior of the HW division" from about 3 years ago! Can't see it happen, but if it does it would be hilarious! :yep
Fury-Haye Haye KO 2 Povetkin-Wlad Wladimir KO 5 Thompson-Pulev Thompson UD 12 Arreola-Mitchell Mitchell KO 11 Boytsov-Chisora Chisora UD 12 Btw it's like the Heavyweight divison just woke up and said HEY lets acually fight eachother and make it to a great era again!
Fury-Haye Haye TKO 6 Povetkin-Wlad Wlad TKO 8-9 Thompson-Pulev Pulev UD12 Arreola-Mitchell Arreola TKO4 Boytsov-Chisora close fight, probably Boytsov decision if it's in Germany
Fury-Haye -- Fury UD Povetkin-Wlad -- Wlad KO8 Thompson-Pulev -- Thompson TKO6-8 Arreola-Mitchell -- Could go either way. Boytsov-Chisora -- Chisora Early KO
Fury-Haye Fury, KO late Povetkin-Wlad Vlad KO mid - rounds Thompson-Pulev Pulev UD or TKO late Arreola-Mitchell Arreola KO early or mid rounds Boytsov-Chisora Boytsov by KO - mid rounds
When was the last time we had a thread discussing 5 upcoming HW matchups? I love it. Having said that, I agree with the majority of the predictions here, except for: What makes you guys think Arreola will stretch out Mitchell so easily? Yes I understand the glass jaw theory, but Arreola has his own flaws (work rate, accuracy, lazy lab etc) and is a sucker for a good counter thanks to his own lack of speed. I wouldn't write Mitchell off completely, and would assume at least the first couple rounds could be even before Arreola's experience lets him take the upper hand.
Fury-Haye Unanimous decision Povetkin-Wlad TKO/KO 8 Thompson-Pulev Unanimous decision Arreola-Mitchell KO 4
Arreola did not train much for Stiverne. Arreola was doing well until one punch happened to break his nose, yet Arreola fought on, had Stiverne in trouble on the ropes, but did not have the stamina to put him away. Vitali will have the stamina to put Stiverne away. Vitali knows Stiverne well..............
Also. Adamek-Guinn Unanimous decision Liakhovich-Wilder TKO 7 Ustinov-Tua Unanimous decision Glazkov-Polley KO 2
All in fun... Fury-Haye, Haye early-mid T/KO, if it goes into late rounds Fury has a decent chance Povetkin-Wlad, Wlad by mid-late T/KO Thompson-Pulev, Pulev UD Arreola-Mitchell, Arreola by early-mid T/KO Boytsov-Chisora, very hard to handicap, Boytsov U or even M/SD
This. I'll also throw Wilder vs. Liakhovich out there. I think Wilder stops him in the first 4 rounds.
Fury-Haye Haye by TKO4 Povetkin-Wlad Povetkin's block head is a great target,TKO6 for Wladdy boy Thompson-Pulev Thompson UD? Not sure about this one. Arreola-Mitchell Arreola KO3 All day. Seth ain't got half a chin Boytsov-Chisora Chisora TKO6 Boytsov the 10 year vet with zero names on the record. Takes huge amounts of time off in between fighting journeymen, zero head movement etc Chisora will out work him and make him quit.
