Okay, so, since there isn't like, an official thread that I could find, I figured I'd put one up. I'll start. Georges St. Pierre TKO4 B.J. Penn Thiago Silva TKO3 Lyoto Machida Karo Parisyan SUB2 (kimura) Dong Hyun Kim Nate Diaz KO3 Clay Guida Stephan Bonnar TKO2 Jon Jones Jon Fitch TKO3 Akihiro Gono- Fitch by 3rd round TKO Thiago Tavares Dec Manny Gamburyan And yes, I really think Silva wins this one, I think he is horribly underrated.
BJ submission 2 (ok GSP Decision) but I'd like to see BJ hurt him standing, take him down and lock in an armbar or choke Machida TKO Parysian dec Diaz Sub 2
Georges St. Pierre TKO5 B.J. Penn Thiago Silva SD Lyoto Machida Karo Parisyan UD Dong Hyun Kim Nate Diaz UD Clay Guida Jon Jones UD Bonnar Jon Fitch TKO2Akihiro Gono- Thiago Tavares Dec Manny Gamburyan
I think a lot of fights will go the distance tonight. :nut GSP UD Machida UD Dong Hyun Kim UD Guida UD Bonnar UD Fitch UD Tavares TKO 2
I'm sure i'm wrong for Machida and Silva, but damn that I hope its a good fight, I hope Silva has the right strategy..He has the tools to do it..
I'm sure it will be a good tactical and technical fight. I don't get why some people think Machida fights in a boring way. I think it's good to watch. Very cerebral and clean.
Here is an interesting article I read the other day about Machida. http://mma.fanhouse.com/2009/01/27/forced-admiration-for-lyoto-machida/
who cares about the other fights. BJ mauling GSP Machida all over Thiago and Karo wont be able to hold the gate tonight
If Penn wins, would he hold two different weight titles simultaneously or would he be required to vacate one?
Im a huge boxing fan and im actually excited to see this fight. There is only a few MMA fighters i like to watch and GSP is one of them. I find him to be exciting unlike most MMA fighters. No offense or anything.
