I think it's from one of the HOF dinners. I got it from Marvelous's website. You should check out the gallery there -- It's like avi-central.

If Pierre Benoist isnt a judge, then I got Martinez by UD.

    Thanks, I'll check it out.

Just imagine how awesome it would be to have that picture autographed by each of those men.

Thats what im saying. The best thing PW can do is the same thing he did in the first. Go all out but then again he will be countered by a fast hard puncher in Martinez. If he tries to box it will look like the Cintron fight where he looked aweful then Martinez wins a wide UD.
Martinez is the one who has shown he can even make mid fight adjustments so its a no brainer. I hope the boxing public puts their money on PW because i will be putting mine on Martinez.

Im thinking in a close fight this time Martinez will get it to make up for the last one and not to mention set up even bigger money for a trilogy.

Either way if Martinez doesnt get KOd which i have never even seen him close to it then he wins.

In terms of preference I'm leaning towards Martinez. I really like his style and the way that he can maintain such an incredible workrate for a guy his age. On the otherhand, Paul has a future ahead of him, I'd hate to see him get ruined at only 29 years old. My heart wants Martinez, but a Williams victory might be better for the sport.

well ask yourself who has improved more since the last fight. answer is probably martinez. pwill is still too sloppy. its should be a competitive fight, with martinez probably winning a decision, but Williams may just pull it out.

This fight may very well be the next Hearns vs Hagler. Both these guys are going to go APE when the bell rings.

I think the problem is that the Cintron fight didn't give us much to look at, so it's hard to figure out exactly where PWill is at this point. If you took a 4-round sample from the beginning or end of the Pavlik fight, you'd say Martinez has developed more -- or, more likely, he wasn't coming in on such short notice. But if you took a 4-round sample from the middle of the Pavlik fight, you'd wonder why Martinez was getting so much respect.

PWill is 'sort-of' sloppy. But he's got that "his attack is his defense" thing going on. Any individual punch of his might be easy to counter, but there's a pretty large probability that they're coming at you in four, five and six-punch streams, which are much harder to time, as you're open for the next one coming in just as you're throwing the counter.

I agree with you; the edge is probably with Sergio. But I'd be cautious about going too far with it.

Martinez by close decision, though I'm very concerned about the extra weight his team chose to carry for more power. Look at Pac-Margo: there's no need for extra weight if you already got the skills, it just messes up things.

Anyway, how can you not love his fight? WAR MARAVILLA!

I dont think either one of them will want to go all out again. If history tells us anything after a grueling fight like the 1st the second is never as good. Too tactical.
Unless they themselves have that "dont give a ****" factor which is rare nowadays and will make for an even shorter career.

True, but he was at just under 160 against Pavlik, and this is catch-weighted to 157, and DiBella claims he has trouble making 154. The weight could play either way, or not at all.

you're right. since the frog hopped out of the ring after 4 rds, you didnt get to see pwill for a full length of time. but he was getting tagged before that. his defense is still and issue.

but p-will has got two things going for him, hes a great volume puncher and hes got good stamina. his volume punching is what got him the nod the first time. so he may be able to outwork martinez again. its a winnable fight for williams, it going to be a great match.
