This fight showed that khan is nowhere near elite level, he's not om pac or may level , he's on algieri level

    "His speed was really phenomenal".

The studio commentators for BoxNation can't think of anything else flattering to say about Khan so they just keep harping on about his speed.

He looked slower than usual to my eyes, tonight, honestly.

So, I think it's pretty much for certain that Mayweather is fighting Khan next. He has a big smile on his face right now.

Peh, I like Khan, all action fighter. However, he get beat by at least Porter and Brook. I'd throw in Mayweather, Pacquiao and Bradley also.
Just not enough leverage to discourage the elite pressure fighters of the division as they come in. He can win on points with flurries and land solid shots but he'll never dominate this division and will probably end up getting stopped badly again.
He could pitter-pat and flash his way to a huge win streak though if he aboids the above fighters.......can't dodge The Special One forever though....

Maybe you're right. I'm not much of a Floyd fan, but I think he deserved the right to fight whoever he wants, whenever he wants, for whatever reason he wants. The Cotto rematch IS the one that makes the most sense to me, and considerably so.

But aside from the Cotto rematch, I guess I just always assumed his other options would be Khan (more likely) or Garcia (less likely).

And I'm not sure that Khan's blatant flaws being on display changes any of that, given the official verdict.

I don't think he could have anticipated this. He just struck gold. :yep

Stop. Mayweather has so much more power than Khan.

He didn't look slower so much, as sloppier where his combo punches seemed to lack the crispness and fluidity they normally have.
