Raines is a pretty good journeyman. Not amazing, though. If this is anything but a stoppage for Angulo he gets a low grade. Like a D+ max for any kind of decision, even a shutout.

Angulo is jabbing and ducking under the long right hand of Raines. Angulo is pressuring, showing the jab, feeling Raines out. Angulo catches a jab on his right palm, scurrying in and out. Clinch. Angulo is pumping right uppercuts into Raines' ribcage while his left arm is trapped. Angulo is walking into jabs and 1-2-3s on the beard. Angulo is lashing Raines on the nape of the neck with high right hands as Raines turns away, bouncing off the ball of each foot.

10-9 Angulo, not much in that.

 

Not a dominant opener, but clear enough that Angulo is going to break his man down unless something weird happens.
