Thought it was a bit odd that it wasn't in their schedule, but was in ESPN's. From their facebook page...

Pretty shoddy really, you'd have thought these 'ongoing issues' would have been resolved before they went and announced it to the world. I wonder if this, along with them not showing that Conference match the other day suggests the beginning of the end is near for them. A shame, as they have shown a fair few fights recently.

I know this should probably be in the 'Boxing on TV' thread, but it's pretty big news and would probably get lost in there.

The rights for ESPN US shows are sold internationally and the department that handles it did a deal with Premier. as soon as the guys from ESPN UK heard about the deal they wen't mad and retracted on the deal.

So now instead of getting the fights live on Premier Sports, they will just be shown delayed on ESPN who charge allot more to see it. A real shame.

You can't really be pissed at Premier.

Oh ffs! Can Premier do a deal to get Top Rank Live?

They put on some good shows.

Trust ESPN UK to **** things up. Big shame for Premier Sports although it was a bit naughty for them to announce when it obviously wasn't confirmed. Did seem a bit odd that Premier nabbed FNFs from ESPN UK though.

Hope its not the beginning of the end for them.
