Question i have is ,does he have a big enough stable ...also he dosent have any belt holders does he ?So can we expect at least one title fight per show, like we usuall get on sky i think he could do well ,but he needs to come out the starting blocks strong (but im sure he knows this anyway )
the usual possie mate on here both primetime and premier are good longterm for us fans we have 2 more channels than a year ago which is great
You sure you aren't getting them mixed up with Primetime mate? I can't remember seeing anyone slating Premier. It's always been good value for money.
Primetime are not good for the sport. Take fights we would have got for subs on sky & charge £15 for them. They invest £0 in the supporting boxing. Just take 100%. Sky would do 4 or 5 ppv shows a year but would have regular shows every single week
Premier is good for us. Bringing us fights like last nights. Primetime is shite, putting everything on pay per view and asking £10 for Klitschko fights and £15 for Mayweather. The only half decent thing Primetime did was help Carl Froch when Hennessey couldn't get him a decent TV deal. Even then they messed around for thousands that tried to buy it and threatened customers that did (and I was never even charged for Froch/Dirrell & Abraham/Taylor) Anyway, good news that Spencer Fearon's getting half a chance with these :good
Thats great, Choi will make a great headliner and I think he really could get a shot at a "world" title in the next year or so.
Rob palmer certainly had a ***** and a moan about premier a while back, and a few others were "threatening" to cancel their subs. This was at a point when they didn't have many cards on except the WSOB. Premier are great value for boxing and always have been
:happy Great news, but I can't help wondering what Spencer can put together for these shows. He can't put Choi up 6 times a year and thus far has only done something like 4/5 shows in total.
aye but that wouldent go against what he preaches, him and his lieutenant s constantly bang on about how the fights are 50/50 etc ...which is fair enough ..however if there bidding for fights there is no cast iron guarantee they will get that
Great news.Fearon said in Boxing Monthly that he was near to getting a tv deal.Hard knocks is great entertainment.
