If they both want it, no excuse for Simpson-Choi not to happen now

The best thing about HardKnocks shows is the quality of the contests. Proper 50 50 fights. Choi v Asiku was great. A title wouldn't have made it any better?

It doesn't rock my world. I'm sure there will be some good scraps but only hardcores will like it.

Who has Fearon got on his roster?

The October 7th lineup is strong and there will also be some fresh new talent.

So tp watch this I have to pay an additional £6.99 per month to see 5-6 cards a year, that doesn't seem like particularly good value. Is there other boxing on there?

You will need to ask Spencer or Ciaran.

I disagree, if the fights are evenly matched and exciting then people will watch. Let's be honest, fighters at British title level aren't known by anyone outside of the hardcore fans either. When a casual tunes into SFN they aren't tuning in to specifically watch Stephen Smith or Lee Purdy, they just want to see a decent scrap.

Since they began they've shown a lot more than one card a month, and have also shown the world series of boxing and Shobox. I dont have the channel, but plan to once I get Sky in a week or two. I hear theres a weekly boxing show starting as well.

Yeah, there is a lot more Boxing than just this. They've got a deal to show ShoBox shows and Top Rank shows, and they usually pick up one big card on top of that. Like this month they had the Showtime Bantamweight final.

cant see too many parting with 6.99 to watch very average fighters regardless if their 50 /50 fights it will be a novelty thing and then die .

You're not paying £6.99 for just these shows though. They've got deals like this with Top Rank and Gary Shaw as well as the other fights they pick up on top.
