I love how Saji Mahmood is always wheeled on for a little cheerleading. How's that England career going, Saji? Oh yeah.
yeah definitely. joe won't lose to bhop though so thats the losing streak over unless he puts khan in with romanov in june
Barry Mcguigan seems to think Khan was perfect tonight. When Khan goes to Setanta, I wonder whether Barry will go with him? Now I don't mind a bit of back slapping, but I do believe Barry must have been sent on some training course to pull it off with a straight face. He's very good.
i don't know if you noticed, but theres a guy standing behind jim just off-camera holding up a pay-cheque like a cue card. thats how barry keeps a straight face.
Like someone said, the Dane was pretty tough. He took quite a lot of shots. Khan went a bit too fast in the first 3, can't afford to do that against a puncher otherwise it would be lights out somewhere between 4 and 6. He needs to be looking into more stamina work. Defence could also improve. Hand speed, good as always, but the accuracy wasn't too great. I'm curious to see who his next opponent will be. (Warren made it pretty clear that it wasn't going to be Campbell or Casamayor). After what happened yesterday, I doubt Warren would want to put him in with Romanov. We might end up with another St-Clair/Kristjansen mystery boxer who most of us probably never watched, or even heard of.
before the first bell khan was heading for world domination and all the rest of the slosh the itv crew were spitting, and as the fight wore on they were stepping down the rungs and saying he should maybe fight romanov at euro level first.......... the media are a ****ing joke
You can call me slow (it's been a long day), but I just realized that this was meant to be a WBU eliminator. Oh well...
