Prepare yourselves for Lucian Bute vs. Bernard Hopkins

    It's happening. 'Nard got asked last night if he'd like to fight Bute and he pretty much said 'yes' and Bute was asked tonight if he'd like to fight Hopkins and it seems there was interest. "I" don't want to see this fight, but, since the Super 6 is still going on, Bute's options are limited. Even though 'Nard fought one of the worst fights I've ever seen against RJJ, he's still viable because he keeps winning...no matter how ugly that win was. So, prepare yourselves for Bute-Hopkins about six months from now...probably in Canada. Oh, almost forgot, 'Nard makes it an unwatchable fight.

    Makes sense. Not sure how much Bernard has left, but Bute is definitely beatable.

    I think this fight gets signed next month and happens in the fall.
    Neither guy has an option. Hopkins is NOT going to fight david haye,
    and bute has nobody else to beat up on at '68 til S6 is over. This fight
    is inevitable.

    Haye vs Hopkins is ******ed and bad for boxing. However Bute vs Hops is quite interesting.

    Rather see b-hop-dawson but since the other 6 SM are busy then i guess this match should do for now. Just do me a favor show it on hbo not PPV:lol:

    Bring on Hopkins!

    I've seen some things in the Miranda fight that Hopkins could exploit better than I would have thought until tonight.

    It will be a hard, hard fight for Bute, but I think he can do it!

    It's in Bhops court now! Will he dare take on another prime, young unbeaten champ?

    If not, I think he should retire.

    Hopkins-Bute sounds interesting....I would keep him away from Dawson or anybody with speed and movement...

    Interesting fight, hopefully it happens. Hopkins is an ageless wonder and STILL has things to prove, Bute is that Fantasic Four dude, he's on ****ing fire.

    As much as Hopkins might want to fight him, I believe Bute won't give Hop a match.

    Bute's been chasing Bhops since he became champ! He had wanted to fight him even before he fought Joppy!:deal

    So why would Bute not want to fight Hopkins now, when his chance of winning is higher than ever?

    Are you sure you didn't have that the wrong way around?:huh
