a rematch would have been far bigger and had made much more sense at all than Khans useless fight McCloskey.. he just dont want it..

It's ridiculous, honestly. He's just struggled with and lost - all be it close - to a guy who everyone here refers to as a garbage, Euro fighter (McCloskey).

You know, I hope Khan does rematch him. Because I wonder what the excuses will be if he thrashes him and confirms what everyone's been saying all along.

If McCloskey is useless, then what would that make Prescott who's just struggled to beat him?

Time and time again, Khan has said "The Prescott fight isn't going anywhere". Just put on your promoter hat for a moment, and think about what that means.

Wasn't Maidana - a bigger puncher than Prescott - supposed to do the same thing?

So now Prescott has lost his fight and Morales doesn't want any of Khan... I guess it's Peterson later this year. If he even accepts the terms this time that is.

Maybe Khan should just move straight up to 147...

Bull****, Prescott loads up with his shots and makes it way more obvious than Maidana. Maidana is just as fast as Prescott. Faster even.

He also throws more shots and doesn't gas after 4 ****ing rounds either. I seriously can't believe you're trying to argue this... wow...

You know, a few weeks ago I was worried that if Prescott won, Khan would have found a perfect excuse not to bother with Matthysse - who I thought was going to beat Morales and get hold of that WBC belt that Khan was interested in.

But now, with fighters pulling out, Morales not wanting Khan, etc, I guess Peterson may not be that bad of a fight, after all. Some of the things Khan will be up against with him, he'll experience on a grander scale against Mayweather next year. So preperation wise, you can see why Team Khan are interested in him. Because remember, guys, this is the same Peterson who fought Ortiz to a draw. The same Ortiz that is now that young, hungry, lion that's supposedly going to give Floyd Mayweather the toughest fight in recent years.

But no, people think Khan should fight Prescott instead.

    All good points.

Maybe it's just me though, but I find Peterson a bit... vanilla?, his style is nice but nothing really stands out. And he doesn't have crushing power as that one great equaliser to bother Khan and make the fight interesting. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic though :conf

Oh lord. Get real guys..... Prescott is a solid guy who's best win was over a green Khan. He did well against Mcloskey but he's in no position to get a rematch against Make... Not yet at least. He'd lose right now based on his last performance.

That's what I thought, to be honest, but check his fights with Bradley & Ortiz. There is more to this guy, and he has very good fundamentals.

A very stern test for Amir, imo.
