Yeah, that's true, but despite that, he still managed to fight Ortiz to a draw. Remember, this is the same Ortiz that's deemed as a legitimate opponent for Floyd Mayweather. So there is something to him. He maybe won't beat Khan, but he's good enough to be considered a legit opponent.

But you're right, though. If we were back in April and Khan was fighting him in prep for Bradley, then yes, it would be an interesting fight. Now, not so much. But if not Peterson, who else is out there? I think Khan's team are still waiting on the Morales result next week, and are still hoping they can tempt him into defending the belt against him.

Man, when you think about it, that little ****, Bradley, really did **** up everything, didn't he.

.... who will still go on to say "But Khan didn't knock him out the way Prescott did to him. They need one more fight to settle the score. It's a draw at 1-1."

the only reason Khan fought McCloskey was that he didn´t want to rematch Prescott. No one wanted to see that McCloskey fight. Khan got dropped by Sky and made next to no money. Prescott knocked him out in 54 seconds thats something between these two. McCloskey didn´t do that neither did Mitchell styles make fights and who knows maybe Prescott just got Khans number :hey

True. Pacquiao's and Wladimir's legacies are still badly tarnished from their knockout losses. How they sleep at night, I will never know.

it was pointless for tyson to rematch douglas after holyfield knocked him out. should he say.." **** that heavyweight title , i want douglas..now im gonna prove i can beat him up too..just like evander. its means **** when someone else has already done the job..and in prescott case...everyone beats him now...why would anyone want top see khan go from world class ranked opponents to someone in the top 35?

Man, I hear that... it would be amazing if Bradley finally decided to step up this December against Khan. The chances of that happening are slim-none though :-(

Erm, no. The only reason Khan fought McCloskey, was because it would be a quick, easy warm-up fight in preperation for Bradley in July.

Seriously, fight fans can be so fickle and quick to jump to conclusions. Maybe Khan's not fought Prescott yet, because he's saving him for a time when he desperately needs to fight him? Say, in the event he loses against Mayweather next year? Or slips up against Berto or Ortiz? Because if that happens - his hype train being derailed - Khan will immediately need a meaningful fight that will claw back that bit of respect he may have lost. That's where Prescott enters the picture. So, when Khan says things like "A fight with Prescott isn't going anywhere"...."Prescott's not on my radar at the moment"...."If Prescott beats McCloskey, the fight with him will happen sooner rather than later".... it usually means something.

I've seen nobody that watched the Prescott fight that believes he lost, horrid decision, and Khan obviously doesn't want to fight him for whatever reason.

i cant believe hopkins went out and beat up pavlik, tarver, pascal....and he just ducked taylor over and over....i mean, between JTs knock out losses, BHOP could have worked him in for fight III

I agree it would sell and Khan should do it. He would win.
