Have you seen more of his fights?, Prescott actually didn't look at all in his last fight before fighting Khan and got a SD which many thought was a robbery more than anything. He definitely proved he can punch hard but that was in a 54 second fight, let's see how he does in fights where he will be taken the distance and Amir MIGHT be able to do that if a rematch is on sometime down the line.
Exactly what I think about Juan Manuel Lopez, Just a fluke. The guy can punch but wont stand a chance against Top fighters like Izzy and Marquez. Dont get me wrong Prescott and JuanMa were both impressive but to say they can beat the best at their weight based on 1 round is ridiculous.
So Juanma 1 round destruction of Ponce was a fluke?....And BTW I know Juanma can more than hang with Izzy and Ralphy, both them get hit easily and Juanma hits extremely hard, lets not discredit Juanma KO win over Ponce because Ponce is said to have a rock solid chin and Juanma was able to shatter it not even Izzy or Ralphy would have been able to beat Ponce in the same fashion that Juanma did.
I saw his last fight and no way was that a robbery. It was a narrow margin win but it was clearly prescotts win, abril was barely doing anything in that fight. For the first four rounds abril was competitive, you can probably give him 2, 3 rounds at best. After that it was all prescott. In the later rounds all abril was doing was running and trying to surive. Plus prescott got a point taken away as well. The one judge that saw it go abril's way had it 95-94 and thats with the point taken. Anyways, the fight was clearly precott's, he through more power punches, landed them at a higher connect percentage, 30 percent to abrils 15 %, and just plain wanted to win more.
I don't see a resemblance in their physical features but I do see it in Prescott's stance and stalking footwork. He's got power in his left hand for sure I'm just not sure if it's as strong as Tito's. I'd like to see him against some quality opposition for sure.
