Prescott returning to UK!!

I agree, the coments were pretty unfair. If you look at what Prescott did to Khan in 56 seconds, and saw is record, you would think he was awesome. He's no bum. Somewhere in between at the moment.
I think he would stretch the majority of the UK lightweights. But world level, only a punchers chance at the moment.

If he has a great chin, can be taught better boxing skills in the UK and is developed by Frank Warren he could go all the way. Although it was almost impossible for him to have done a better job against Khan than he did.

He's certainly a likeable character and the rags to riches story in the UK
makes him desirable to the public.

Lightweight is a very strong division at the moment thats the only bad point. If it wereweaker I would wager he would be a world champion within the next 12 months.

I guess Frank Warren can bring him along in the UK, maybe an IBO or WBU shot and wait for the WBO to become vacant. Making Prescott money. Thats what I would do.

I think we should welcome Prescott with open arms. I can't believe some of the dickheads on here slating him. He wasn't in the ring with Khan long enough for you to say he is crap and I can't imagine any of you had seen him before Khan.

How many lightweights in this era have fought world class opposition in their first 20 fights? I'd say Prescott's got it right - learn the trade then bang out fellow prospects. Nobody is saying he's the finished article he's just on the way up.

Really need to wise up on Warren as well. Warren will have Prescott stay in the UK so he develops a fan base whilst Khan beats a succession of boobs on his way to a rematch - the only feasible way Khan can regain credibility.

If he fights 6 or 7 times in the UK we might be able to nationalise him - next British prospect.
