    He already has signed him.

He secured the rights before the fight that if Prescott won he would have the option to sign Prescott

My bad i don't think it has happened yet but Warren is definitely in pole position to get him, he won't let this one slip.

Don King was the master at that, 5 fights was his standard demand (and you had to take on Carl King as your manager).

Also how tough is your manager (Carl King) going to get with your promoter (Don King) when purses are being negotiated?

this a good thing for prescott, Warren has TV date and can move Prescott to a title shot if he is good enough

It what I'd do if I was a promoter.

As for Prescott, signing up with Warren and getting some more fights in the UK is his chance to earn decent money for the first time. I doubt that he would have got a lot for facing Khan but he will get more in his next fight for sure.

    You seem surprised.
Personally i would have been amazed if Frank DIDNT secure options on Prescott before the contracts were signed.Thats the business..unknown fighter, big time promoter...of course he took contractual control.

Warren wouldn't have let anyone with the remotest chance of smashing up his last remaining meal ticket into the same ring without 'future options' being nailed on them

Warren has already announced Prescott's next five fights:

    (1) Martin Kristjansen

    (2) Willie Limond

    (3) Michael Gomez

    (4) Gairy St Clair

And the big one for the vacant WBO title:

    (5) Stoke Flyweight Chris Edwards (11-13-3), the newly installed WBO Lightweight No.1 contender.

he most definitely has options on prescott. it says in a recent article on his site

"Khan may be back on December 6, but his conqueror, Prescott, will be action before that in the UK on one of my shows. I think he can be a star of the future."
