Kat by 3rd round KO. Possibly a great fight but Prescott could do with facing decent fighters before he steps up a level.

After seeing only 50 odd seconds of Prescott it is very difficult to come to any educated conclusion. Prescotts physical advantage may be the telling factor.

yea but the way he counterd khan makes me think he'd do the same to katsidis.. katsidis got dropped by Earl.. and katsidis is very wreckless, probably more wreckless than khan

    prescott looks a class fighter

and katsidis likes to fight on the inside.. if he tryed to rush at prescott he'd get hurt

Would have to favour Katsidis purely because I still dont know enough about the other fella. Did he destroy Khan because he's a class act? Or was he just the guy in the right place at the right time who delivered what has been coming for ages anyway?

Katsidis has a better chin and defence. In fact, their chins are not comparable. Look at some of the punches Katsidis has took in his career....and you don't think he would last as long as a guy who got rocked by a jab?

    Come off it.

I think Katsidis would probably win but I don't know how good Prescott is to make a prediction. He hasn't beaten a good fighter yet, so it's not fair to say. I would imagine Czar Amonsot is better than both Khan and Prescott though.

    Czar Amonsot!!

dont be silly - prescott was a bad match up for khan it dont mean khans a completely **** fighter with no hope left.. hes still got a lot of ability

i'd still put money on him beating juan diaz aka "humpy dumpty"

khans been exposed get ****ing tony blair in he'd knock khan out in seconds m8

What? Amonsot is a good fighter, I think. Compact punches, he hits harder than his record shows and he ha a great jaw. He's not a world beater, but I think he'd beat Khan and probably Prescott. Again, it's hard to say when you've seen so little of a guy, but I would bet on Amonosot twice should those fights happen.

I agree that Prescott was a bad match-up for Khan, yes. His power was way too much. However, who can Khan beat with such little punch resistance? I think the light hitting Juan Diaz would lay him out in less than 3 rounds. I don't think there is a top 10 lightweight who wouldn't knock Khan out. And he's more skilled than some of these guys too, like David Diaz, who he should beat, but only if he doesn't get hit. Unless he doesn't get hit, he isn't going to beat any of them.
Who Khan? No chance, mate. Even if Khan had a good chin Diaz would outclass him easily. They're in a different league. Diaz has shown no problems with fighters who fight the same way as Khan, including Popo, who Diaz beat easily, and is a better fighter than Khan.

i dunno, i couldnt see khan getting brutally exposed like prescott did to him

but anything can happen, juan diaz is a great fighter

Fair enough if you think that. I think you're ****ing crazy for thinking it though, mate

But seriously, why? Is there any logical reason or do you just thik Khan is better?

Yeah he is a class fighter. That knockout was impressive in what was a perfect fight for Prescott.

yea theres a reason. Because diaz is a brawler, he is a volume puncher who likes to fight on the inside and i think it would suit khan because khan could work off the outside like he did against gomez..landing uppercuts and moving - dont jump to conclsions and think im comparing gomez to diaz.. but there styles are roughly similar in the way the plod forward

but diaz is durable and i couldnt see khan knocking him out, i think khans got the ability to out work diaz.. if his chin was sturdier i think he could win on points

Popo fights in a similar way to Khan. Except he is better, hits harder and has a much stronger chin. And Diaz battered him. On the other hand, khan has never faced someone like Diaz. The closest comparison would be to Gomez, who, although being shot, gave Khan a decent fight.

I don't see it. If Khan had a good chin, I think he could win maybe 4 rounds and lose on points. But I don't think he sees round 4 anyway.
