    I dont get it..
Everyone knew Canelo was going to be a big fight so they did an unprecedented 10 city tour.
    But not for this fight?

I never said Mayweather refused 24/7. I'm talking about the promotional aspects outside of the networks, like press conferences, where if you'd read the bit of the contract given it says Mayweather Promotions has authority of.

The fight is so insanely big already, who actually gives a **** about being there for press conferences? :nut

They'll probably upload the entire damn thing after it or stream it anyways. Calm your god damn titties. :rofl

Floyd ran down the clock as he gathered the courage to sign the dotted line. Team Pac been ready since Christmas.

    :conf

So you can thank Floyd for the pathetic lack of promotion for this fight.

    :verysad

"This fight don't need promotion! We don't want 24/7 or All Access!!!" - Floydettes

As much as I want to see Floyd trash talk, I know he has his game face on and he probably does not want to be distracted until fight night.

I have a good feeling we will see the best of Floyd.

He's coming to whoop Pac's ass.

The public should never be allowed to attend press conferences. Those are functions for professionals to ask questions and do their jobs, not for fanbois to turn into pep rallies.

It isn't done in any other sport -- they don't let people come down from the stands after the Super Bowl or World Series of NBA finals and come into the press area for press conferences. They don't do it in the regular season either.

Weigh-ins, of course, are usually public events, but press conferences ... no.

It seems kind of weird that Floyd is down playing the whole thing. I understand the fight will sell itself, but it seems to be out of character. You would think an attention wh0re like Floyd would want to make a spectacle out of everything.

They are just cost cutting the production and marketing to keep more money for themselves.

Why spend money where you don't have to, the fight will sell anyway.

And as above poster said no public allowed at press conference seems pretty normal ? why would they want annoying pact4rds and fl0m0s at a press conference ? :patsch

It should be down to tv networks whether they invest money in to a fly on the wall.

This fights big enough to generate it free publicity.

It's going to be one huge hype up then a complete anti climax of floyd being too fast for manny in a boring one sided hit and not get hit nike fest for 12 rounds in a huge ring the size of football pitch.Floyd be lacing up those nike's already.
