do you think quillin has his name on the map for being based in the US? or do you think sturm has his name at MW out of attrition , even though he's had a belt since (and never fought) Bernard Hopkins, jermain taylor, Kelly pavlik and Sergio Martinez? fill me in on the "top middleweights" sturm has fought... I never mentoned quillin
Not sure I understand you correctly but Sturm doesnt need America to have a successful career. Why does that bother you? The Klitschkos didnt either or Calzaghe and that seems to really unsettle you. Sturm makes big money and draws big crowds and has fought some top MWs and title holders even though you dont rate a title, Sturm holds an arguement to all current MWs and in resume possibly comes out on top
your definition of success is based on $$$ earnt here i'm not begrudging the klitschkos or calzaghe anything - they were the best in their division but i'd like to see you defend sturm. you just touched on the belts, so don't do that. you won't need to if "sturm holds an argument to all current MWs and in resume possibly comes out on top"
I would say Sturm has an arguement resume wise to all of the current active MWs and would likely come out on top on overall
so why do you think Sergio Martinez, who is clearly in the twilight of his career, is recognized as the king, but nobody outside Germany except you recognizes sturm who is a '4 time world champion' and been around at 'the top' longer?
Well this has definitely gone away from the topic of Kessler's career and I just knew it would become about Calzaghe
