...I assume someone's announced there'll be one P123?? Makes sense. The quicker they get something positive out there the better. c/o Ippy on another thread: http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/breaking/7626565/briggs-cant-remember-a-thing/
i thought danny handled himself pretty well in that, you could see he was still riled up from last nights events. a lot of what he said was said with adrenaline pumping through his veins and there was no pre thought so some excuse can be made, hopefully the good thing to come out of this is that danny will be forced to fight against a legitimate fighter now, if only to save his reputation, i doubt it will be shane cameron, he seems to be dodging every mention of shane.
From the choice of words I reckon he will put on an exhibition fight in Perth, and prob needs to do Cameron after that. Personally I don't think anyone will be happy until he fights a legit contender and he's gonna have to go o/s to do it. I don't think that will happen. Still wanna hear from Briggs though, even if we accept the punch as legit, Brigg's presence in the ring probably wasn't. Either way I know a lot of guys who will never ever bother with a domestic Australian fight.
He certainly changed his tune. The act from last night was barely there thank god. If he even utters an interest in Cameron many ppl will just assume he's dodging if it doesn't happen. Personally it's a dud for me. Cameron is too little right now. A real title fight against a top ten, preferably top five cruiser is the only truly positive move he can make right now. He is a world title holder and needs to act like one
just wathced the press conference. danny trying the smoke and mirrors trick and saying if you watch it in super slow mo you can see a shot... digging a bigger hole for himself. i will never be convinced of anything other than a dive
prolly been told by the authorities to keep schtumm about dives until the betting investigation has been completed.
a shot definitely landed you can see it His hand hits his head changes direction then moves past it no way it was enough to do much though.
