I would love to see Prescott beat McCloskey and then Maidana to earn a fight with Khan but he isn't even getting past McCloskey!

Maidana batters him around the ring and stops him before the 8th.

If Prescott really wants it he would ditch the fight with that loser McCloskey and fight Maidana instead of Guerrero.

 

Prescott's had enough chances and he's gonna lose to McCloskey anyway.

I am far removed from being a Khan fan and I'm anxiously awaiting the next time he gives us an all-time classic episode of Shattered Glass but Prescott is clearly not on Khan's level and their respective career trajectories since Khan got sparked out have made the fight a hard one to sell. You just can't take a journeyman with two fairly recent losses to bums and some uninspired UD performances over more bums and put him in there with a legit belt holder who's on the upswing.

Khan is still a Glass Jawed Joke but the gulf in class between he and Prescott is high and I'd be gobsmacked if that ****er managed to starch him again. Khan has no Chin but Prescott has no boxing skill, NONE.

 

Yeah, he's supposed to fight Maidana on one weeks notice. Khan should have rematched Prescott instead of fighting Mccloskey in a fight nobody wanted to see.

He's also trying to pick on the smaller, past it Erik Morales.

 

I didn't say Prescott should fight Guerrero I said he should fight Maidana, I mean he's calling him out and everything right?... and who wants to see anyone fight McCloskey ever again, like you just said?. Still though I admit it's just wishful thinking on my part.

Prescotts a fringe contender at best and hes fighting another finge contender in mccloskey, both of these guys should just shutup and try to make themselves relevant in the ring, with good and impressive wins/preformances, thats how you get big fights, not whining all the time

Both are untested, there's absolute no evidence to suggest that they both beat Maidana. There both not ready for the top 3 or 4 at JWW. **** Jose is only 19 and fights bums so he isn't even close to being ready.

Paris would take a brutal beating against Maidana, he got dropped by light pucnhing Tim "Fist of feather" Coleman. Imagine what Maidana would do to Paris, it would get ugly.
