it was on FNF a few years back, toledo offered himself to presscot a man who'd been stopped several occasions prior to his fight with him
presscot was throwing everything at him, whenever toledo came close, u could see how unconfortable presscot felt, he doesnt seem to have any inside game, i think presscot has a good work rate and quick hands but judging from his last fight hes combination punching isnt there he's quite predictable if u ask me

No, I'm on about Bradley-Vazquez, Precott-Toledo was televised.

Just wondering how the original poster can state 'Prescott will not win this fight' when he hasnt even seen a Miguel Vazquez fight :patsch

I don't think Prescott is that bad as far as basics are concerned, he certainly didn't look crude against Khan. His accuracy and timing were spot on, and he didn't seem to be any slower than Amir, either.

Indeed, he looked awesome against Khan, thats what annoys me when people say Prescott is rubbish and when Khan loses and comes back he is great.

I was convinced Prescott wouldn't be up to much, he didn't exactly look great in his previous bout.

However, all this changed when the cameras went into Prescott's dressing room before the Khan fight. He was warming up, hitting the pads, and it was pretty clear to me that they were taking a huge risk putting Khan in Prescott.

I wonder how Michael Gomez, or MAB would have fared against Breidis Prescott?

    WOW!!!!

I thought exactly the same thing. I thought 'didn't look great against Abril, this will make Khan look less chinny when it fact this guy is average'.

Saw him hitting the pads and turned to all my mates in the room and said, half-joking, 'a fiver to anyone that thinks Khan gets past the 1st round'.

Under a minute into the fight and I look like a ****in Genius:good:happy:lol:

Although, after watching his fight with Toledo it became clear to me that Prescott IS only average..........Khan's chin is just shocking, that's all.

I don't think a decent chin would have stopped him getting knocked out, it would only have delayed the inevitable. Prescott had no trouble finding Khan's chin, and forehead.

Amir Khan knew he had a suspect chin, yet chose to stand in the middle of the ring and trade punches with a known puncher. A hard as nails Columbian one at that. He didn't even take the hint when Prescott landed the flushest of jabs that rocked him back.

Khan may have fought poorly, but the way Prescott nailed him, then quickly finished him was very impressive. He also looked faster, and stronger than Khan (in my opinion). This makes Prescott better than average, maybe not a world beater, but I think we've yet to see the best of him.
