Atlas seems to really like Lara. That's surprising from the usually calm Atlas. Boone is hurt by a choppy uppercut. He holds on and recovers as Jay Nady (whos still the ref after the last fight) warns him. Boone is getting peppered with punches on the ropes. Boone does a really good job slipping some of those punches. Boone taking a beating to the body. If Lara would've spent the 1st round going to the body, Boone probably gets KO'd. Boone will probably make it to the distance. Boone takes a left hand to the body and winces. All Lara all the time.

 

Lara landed some good shots, but Boone keeps holding on.

 

I'm pretty sure Teddy Atlas won his soul in a card game.

 

Lara needs to get his mind off the big bomb KO.

I REALLY want to see Lara fight Fernando Guerrero sometime next year.

 

Boone comes out with renewed vigor trying to jab his way into something. Lara evades well but isn't throwing back yet. Nothing doing so far as Lara is just weathering some of Boone's more wild punches. Boone's flurry ends and he's back to being in the corner and getting caught with punches on the ropes. Atlas says his trainers need to work on slowing down Lara. Boone looks fresh this roudn now even though he's not winning it. Walker Cronkite died apparently unless my eyes missed something. Boone is a good test for Lara. He's gonna be there all night and he's proven. Boone finishes the round trying to go downstairs for some body points.

I can't wait to see more of Guerrero.

 

Put some water in that basement? What is Teddy on about?

 

I wonder if he plans to build Saul up and sell him for twice the profit.

 

I'd favor Lara based on talent and styles, but Guerrero would definitely make him fight. He can basically call his punches against this tier of opponent.
