Stylistically from what I've seen in his fight against briedis is pressure with volume seems to trouble usyk . wilder and joshua do not posess the pressure and volume to give usyk problems early on . they do posses power tho . Stylistically i think the heavyweights usyk will struggle with at heavyweight are c Chisora , Miller , and Andy Ruiz. Heavyweights who stay on you and literally smother you in punches with lots of pressure. Try to take away your will. AJ will will try to box usyk and isnt a pressure fighter. Him trying to box usyk he gives into usyk you do not try and outbox the boxer . wilder is a ko artist he can maybe take out usyk with one shot but i doubt it . Fury is a different story he gives any heavyweight problems. I believe stylistically. Chisora ,Miller and Ruiz. Guys that are stocky. Rough come forward and use their size ,pressure and volume punching to hit your body ,head and lean on you . making it a rough dirty fight . i believe those are the boxers stylistically that usyk will need to be careful with. Not saying he will lose those fights. but stylistically Probably the worst fights for him at heavyweight.
Probable. IMO it's counter punchers that deal best with high output pressure fighters. Usyk is a fine boxer & can counter, but that isn't his specialty/style?
Chisora is no match for Usyk. A prime PED up Miller who was overwhelming his opposition would give Usyk absolute hell. Gassiev is more of a calculated pressure fighter, Miller just throws volume and doesn't give a **** if he gets hit.
Lol troll ?? How come is it when i make threads praising usyk you don't complain then . But i make a forum about a possible style that could be in my opinion his worst style to match up against and u get butthurt over that ? Listen i praise fighters but i also question them. All of them . i don't sit around being a fanboy like you getting butthurt when someone questions a fighter. Usyk is a boxer. And im a boxing fan ..quit crying anytime someone questions usyk.
Believe it or not, boxers can get beaten up by strong fighters Ive plenty of skilled talented boxer thrown out of their comfort boxing zone and resorting to wild swings because they got pressured by a brawler Wilder and Dillian Whyte are guys who can do just that
1) I was pointing out that Gassiev is a pressure fighter and Usyk handled him like a boss 2) If you want to make a case a guy like Ruiz > Gassiev and that it would be harder, that's ok, I guess. 3) In my opinion a guy like Fury who gives up punching power for boxing nous and defence, is going to give Usyk hassles. 4) Drink a beer dude, you sound stressed.
I sort of agree with the premise, but not strict pressure fighters. Usyk likes them, he can hang with them output wise and doesn't have to force the lead. If they have low output, I'm pretty sure he can handle the power (ala Gassiev) as he has shown, and work circles around them. Its people who box aggressively, but bait the lead and counter, and never force it, that will trouble Usyk boxing wise IMO. Good defense and solid footwork is needed. Think of Dwight Qawi as a style comparison to what I'm trying to say. Very aggressive, but at heart a counter puncher, preferably with a solid jab, right hand and possibly shorter.
Dillian Whyte on Usyk vs Chisora “Del boy has gotten stronger as he got older “ Like I said!!! He is prime now not back then... he got better with age @9.40 This content is protected
Difference of opinion fine i can respect that you have yours i have mine. Quit calling everyone a troll who questions usyk.
