This fight will be define by who will pressure his opponent more often, plain and simple...Tony is a slow starter by nature, eventhough he has been far more busier on his last two fights..Cotto on the hand will be attacking the body from the get go....Mrgo presents a huge target for Cotto's left hook to the body, Cotto will start his punishing to the body early and often...Margarito will counter and try to connect his counter left hook getting leverage from the ourside as Cotto comes in...Cotto will be willing to takes Margo's shots until perhaps Margo proof him wrong....

I like Cotto streght and delivered relentless attack to the body more than Margo pressure...it will be painful fight for both..but the body shots will dictatge the outcome late...Cotto by TKO late in the 10th...taking a page from Daniel Santos 2dn fight with Margo.....

...I disagree ..Tony is not what you call a defensive boxer, and Cotto proof his boxing skills against SSM,You can say all you want about Tony but one thing you can't say is that he has a good defense...Cotto will find the openings after Tony high work rate left jabs and keeping his hands low...Tony will set himself for Cotto/s bread and butter the left hook, also watch Cotto siwth to southpaw in many occasssions on this fight....

Two slow starters who finish strong, very interesting.
But Cotto is decieving cuz he's putting body shots in the bank that shows up later. Margo becomes relentless in the late rounds and Cotto does too. Truth is we'll find out tomorrow. Marg's uppercut might prove a big factor. Cotto's left hook might prove a big factor. Damn, I love this sport when I'm confused!

I just caught this very interesting Norman Bates exchange.

Don't be so hard on Cassey Cassey, striking out at the club ruins the rest of your weekend when it happens on a Friday.

the upper or the left hook...remember that everyone that fight Margo try his chin, Cotto wont make that mistake, ribs ribs and more ribs..and they are plenty on Margo;s trunk....

Very true, but Cotto does hold his guard and head in a way that is very exposed to a good uppercut. I always thought this as he comes in on an opponent.

Don't fool yourselves...this fight is going to be decided by whoever is mentally stronger. I think Cotto's mental toughness is very underrated. Judging by the quality of Cotto's opposition, I feel that he is more than capable of beating the TJ tornado convincingly.

I've given up trying to pick a winner for this fight... I do know that margo will hurt Cotto when he hits him. the smart thing for miguel to do would be to go down and recoup everytime he's wobbled. If he's dazed and stays on his feet, Margo will finish him... Cotto's is much stronger than people are giving him credit for. Margo won't be able to bulldoze him like he does everyone else. His jab will earn Margo's respect and he can counter his way to a decision or maybe even a TKO.

Margo's known for the low blows too so Cotto'd better not start that cause I got a feeling he'd get Tszu'ed in the Low blow war.

I dunno, I think Marguerito is going take it, too many physical advantages.

Plus he was smiling at the weighin and cotto looks like an *******. Also Mexico > Puerto Rico.
