For beauty, I loved the ultra fast one - two that RJJ used to drop a southpaw LHW (Might have been Reggie Jackson / Johnson??)

And may I add that it is more difficult for an orthodox fighter to put some mustard on a left uppercut than it is with a right uppercut or left hook. A slightly unnatural angle.

Timing is everything and the effect here is devastating.

Walcott's KO of Charles using the hook/uppercut is one of the best punches I've ever seen. Hearns' knockout of Duran also comes to mind, as does the hook that Liston used to finish Patterson in their first fight.

A great shot that Sonny said he felt "deep into my lower back". Maybe the best shot he ever unleashed... but...Floyd was rising; no 18-19-20 yer' out here! Patterson was getting up. China-chin? BS!!
Many posters have mentioned great shots when the other fighter was already hurt so may I "trowel" :D out Floyd's left hook that...left Ingo's leg twitching....had blood coming out of his ear!
I'm a bit biased but wouldn't that shot have dumped virtually ANYONE?
Sorry, just love to talk about my late childhood hero. :verysad

Morrison's left hook that sent Ruddock airborne was pretty sweet. I still don't know how he got up from that shot. Lipton said he was out cold on the canvas.

what I love about joe Louis is the force he was able to get through pure technique and balance. his shots are so fast, powerful, accurate and perfectly thrown. I like to include power in the speed equation because while ali could throw relatively light punches at crazy speed, joe Louis could throw nuclear bombs at crazy speed.

Pretty Boy Floyd's right hand that ruined Victor Ortiz's career. No? Okay, I'll see myself out.

    Kostya Tszyu verses Sharmba Mitchell.

With 30 something seconds in the third round, Zoo hit Mitchell with a crisp right hand that backed Mitchell to the wall. Once there, Tszyu pawed with the left, then went down stairs with a right hook, left hook, up stairs with a straight right, then a right hook, and finally a left hook as the ref ran in and Mitchell kneeled down.

It looked like a combination that Louis would have hit Schmeling with.

    Something about this one too:

Eubank Vs Jarvis, talk about explosive....probably Jarvis' reaction makes it as much as the technique....looks like he's been shot ffs!
