Personally, I dont care if he has CLASS or NOT. All i ask is that he fight the best as REAL CHAMPIONS DO and let that speak for itself.

I'm suprised to read in this thread that many are unaware of Floyd's INCIDENCES with hitting women. There were at least 5 "cases" in the past of him allegedly abusing his women and one publicly in a LV nightclub. Now, it seems as if PBf has controlled this problem, and as far as I know the incidences have been settled.

Floyd also publicly disrespected SRL at some type of event where someone asked SRL if he wished to be PRIME again to whip Floyds ass. SRL responded with something like "I dont have to be prime ,32 would do". Floyd dissing guy's like Leonard is PATHETIC since he actually faced the best of his time and that was something special.

I dont have to like him to respect him as a CHAMPION, but I cant do that until he's PROVEN IT AGAINST THE TOP OPPOSITION.

i don't care if he's got class or not, he fights great, but his fights lack a certain amount of excitement because he doesn't take chances

I'm sure a certain percentage do. But?? IMO, the majority of PBF fans are simply the "hype" crowd riding the wave of his undefeated record. The minute that ceases? I'll bet that fan base is reduced BY HALF and its definitely not the LARGEST base to begin with. The guy doesnt have or hasnt displayed any endearing qualities indicative of solid character and lasting support.

You're probably right, though Floyd, like every fighter, has die-hard fans. Even Ruiz has a devoted fan club.

NO doubt, and using the Ruiz example is perfect!! But if Floyd loses?? Much of the sensationalist types will disappear.:D

Mayweather just carries himself like an insecure jerk. Not only did he appear to be an immature little ***** on 24/7, but in interviews, both live and on paper, he comes across that way. Throwing large amounts of money all over the place and disrespecting people are only the tip of the iceberg. The guy is a self righteous ego maniac who is far from thinking like an adult.

Floyd is an arrogant jerk yes, but he still is the #1 p4p fighter in the sport, so get over it. before he was awarded that title, nobody really knew or cared about what he was like outside the ring (he was the same kid), now that he's the man, people look for every opportunity and any reason to hate him. maybe you don't like his style, but nobody can **** with him. maybe you don't agree with him being atop the p4p list, but he'll be there until he officially retires or he loses so until then just give him his due respect. hate him or love him, hes the man right now.
