compared to PBF, he's of lesser ability. he's not a joke. nobody on this level is. get that through your tiny ass head if you can.

watch rds 5-11 or until the low blow. Floyd put steady pressure on Zab.

Yeah, Floyd will open himself up more with this gameplan but I dont believe JMM can hurt Floyd. On the other hand Floyd will be catching JMM with Hard shots on his way in, which i dont believe JMM can take.

How do you see this one playing out?

Mayweather is going to make Marquez look like he doesn't deserve to be p4p #2, this is a tune-up fight as Mayweather is too big as Marquez' chin will not hold up to the accuracy and timing of Mayweather. Mayweather is show the counter puncher how to counter punch.

Its not an easy matchup to decipher how the styles will clash and play out........but imo, alot of folks are going to be suprised that JMM will be able to counter Mayweather's advances......

......Mayweather imo is going to be made to fight in this one......I dont think Mayweather will dictate pace and tempo, simply because he usually likes to keep his workrate low.......
.....I dont think thats going to be possible against a fighter like Marquez who throws in combination.

.....so either Mayweather is going to have to be unstylistically for him, matching JMM's workrate and shooting combinations.....or he's really going to have to sit on his punches and punch real hard with real leverage to discourage JMM from throwing his combinations with conviction.

My feeling is that JMM will fight his fight, and Mayweather will do just enough to try and squeek out rounds by landing a shot or two that is more visibly telling in efforts to offset JMM's workrate......

I may change my mind, but my brain tells me that Marquez at his age and at that weight will likely decrease his workrate later in the fight, allowing Mayweather to win the late rounds and the fight by close UD!

As a JMM fan, I wanted this fight so badly to be at 140 lbs.....at that weight, he might have enough juice to hold off Mayweather and be on the winning end of a decision win.

One thing I will tell you......a JMM victory will not suprise me in the least......he's that good and capable.

.....and I wil say this, if Mayweather consistently goes to the ropes like he did vs DLH and tries to rest and stall from there......JMM will outwork and win by UD!

Mayweather is a trap setter from those ropes, but unlike DLH, JMM is too smart to buy into Mayweather's scheme.

At the ropes, JMM is an exellent infighter as he showed vs Diaz, and the key will be the uppercut!

If Floyd comes in top form, then JMM is in trouble mainly because of the size difference. Floyd maybe a small welter, but he is compact compared to a blown up JMM at 147..

IMO it will be similar to Floyd Vs Genaro Hernandez.
Floyd's speed and style is all wrong for Juan Manual.
And i am a Marquez fan.

I always thought Floyd is a small guy? According to his fans he would have been a Flyweight champ at 16 years old just like Pac was. lol

So why not fight JMM at 140??

Is Floyd a big JrWW or what?

Floyds getting knocked out. This should be a good fight with PBF getting countered and then counted out.

Win or lose, Marquez will give Floyd a damn good fight. Who's to say Marquez won't be a tougher fight than Pacquiao for Floyd? Styles make fights, and I wonder who's going to be the more aggressive fighter because they're both natural counter-punchers. It's an interesting style match-up.

its a good fight- but only at 135-140. at 147 i hate this fight- its forcing marquez way out of his weight division- to where floyd has been for a couple years. at 140 - its a very very fair (not even- fair ) fight, and a credible comeback fight for floyd.
