Camacho is great, but I really do think Floyd is THE best 130 lber* ever (at 130), better than Arguello, better than Camacho. I don't think he's anywherre near the best welter though.

Camacho was awesome at lightweight, and except for his big high profile losses to Chavez, De La Hoya, and Tito, was awesome even at middle and above, though not in against world class comp. but I don't think in a head to head he had the pop or will to overcome floyd.

    *even better than Aramini

Camacho would be a tough fight for Floyd (and just about anyone at 130).

However, I think Floyd's intelligence and resourcefulness will be the difference as he wins a competitive decision. Camacho had a tendency to go into a shell at times. While Floyd obviously doesn't have the raw power of Rosario or the heavy-handedness of Chavez, I think he'd hit Camacho clean enough to make him cautious, and be too defensive. Floyd has more tools in the box and I think he wins a 7-5, 8-4 type decision.

    The Burton/Augustus fight was @ 135 BTW.

lol at MW putting up some easy polls for Pretty Boy to win ;)

There's not many people Floyd wouldn't have beaten at 130. Camacho getting too much love in this thread, Floyd would have tracked him down, hurt him and stopped him without too much trouble. Camacho troubled people with his speed, which wouldn't be on his side v. Floyd. Floyd hit at least as hard as Rosario and was much more accurate and much, MUCH quicker. He doesn't struggle with Camacho and doesn't find it hard to catch him.
