That video sucks, he shows about 5 clips and then just replays them in slow motion about 19 times a piece. The one below is way better. Also, how is Floyd better at Welterweight? Certainly not based on accomplishments. Pernell beat the better fighters there, looked better doing it as well, so I don't get that either.

Lightweight, definitely, both fighters were pretty much at their best there(though Floyd was slightly better at 130).

hahahaha this is gonna be tricky somewhere between 130 and 140 would be a start. So tricky to call when we don't actually have any way to compare there strengths at the weight.

Lets say lightweight both were ring magazine champions at that weight.

both were at their best and were undefeated at that weight.

Fantastic, people are still arguing. Who has put forward the best argument for Floyd to win?

You wasn't feeling the Mc hammer? Floyd is the better welter because he has beaten top 10 fighters in that class and Hatton was top 8 pound for pound when he beat him, plus his career is still going on so we shouldn't conclude it yet. :good

Floyd beat 2 top 5 P4P fighters(and a second fight with one of them when he was still top 10) at the weight(including the P4P #1). He beat 3 if you include DLH. Pea's wins are definitely better, that isn't even arguable, he defended his title 7 times as well.

Let Floyd beat Cotto and maybe a couple others, and he has a case at WW. As it is, nah, not at all.

I don't believe Mayweather would come to this fight like he did with Judah. It's all about game plan. He knew Judah would start off strong and eventually wear down. So he was willing to lose a few rounds. If u notice in that fight, he was on offense all those rounds he lost against Judah. Judah had the speed to counter him. Whitaker isn't as fast as Judah. So basing his performance against Judah is not a good way to predict how Mayweather vs Whitaker would happen.

or better yet lets go age 30 - welterweight -
they both were pretty much even at this time in their careers.

Pernell 33-1-1 (bull**** loss even more bull**** draw)
    *13-1-1 2KO championshp fights
    *p4p king
-notable fights at this time; JCC, Buddy McGirt, and Azumah Nelson

    Floyd 39-0 (undefeated)
    *18-0 8KO championship fights
    *p4p king
-notable fights at this time; Hatton, Corrales, Castillo, DLH, and Genero Hernandez

It's not neccessarily based on just that, it's based on the fact that Floyd takes time to adapt to every top notch fighter he faces, from Judah to DLH to Hatton. Someone who has such clear edges in key points like Whitaker has would certainly be no exception.

    He's only 31

and he beat Corrales, Castillo, and Hatton who at the time were rated by the ring magazine as top 5 by ring magazine.

DLH was at one point in his career and if you consider that then thats 4.

Are those so outlandish they can't BEAT Mayweather? In the future, don't jump on guy for their comments if you're going to just do the same about mine. :deal

I wish Mayweather did what Whitaker did and try to unify and defend his belt. Instead, even though hes already rich, he continues to look for big money fights and not fight the best. I would be impressed if he had fought the proper mandotories and up and comers that want a shot. Even if he lost some of those fights, he would still look better and get more respect than he is now.
