Golovkin is too white to beat Floyd. Not fast enough, not athletic enough, not smart enough, not versatile enough. He has no chance.

GGG is FAR from the usual mayweather opponent. People have to remember, GGG has an amateur record that supersedes Floyds! So what you say, well it shows the man knows how to box. Amateur fighting is based on scoring points (not KOs) and GGG was like 240 wins and 5 losses or somewhere around there. It would be a very interesting match up and GGG is on Floyd's level ring IQ wise.

 

if mayweather was bigger and younger I wouldn't give GGG much chance but right now Floyd gets hurt bad even if he blocks every punch

Golovkin would be the best boxer Floyd will have fought plus he's prime, something Floyd doesn't like to do, fight dangerous fighters in their prime.

The fight isn't going to happen but Golovkin would break Joy down stop him mid rounds, too big, too strong, too good.
